Whitfield County deputies arrest man for selling meth out of home

Whitfield County, GA (WDEF) –     Whitfield County Sheriff’s deputies find more than 0.5 pounds of meth in a bust on Edwards Circle.
    Officials got a tip Billy Smith was distributing the drug from his home.
    Deputies made an undercover purchase from Smith and then executed a search warrant.
    Deputies say Smith had a high tech surveillance system, so he tried to hide in a closet when he saw the officers approaching.
    The deputies also found the meth hidden in a wall.
    As well as a motorcycle paid for with drug money.
    Three other people were at the home at the time.
    They were also arrested.
    Smith is being held in the Whitfield County Jail with no bond.
