Why Did Someone Pull a Gun at a Crowded Chattanooga Bowling Alley?

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) We’re working to find out just what happened last night at Pin Strikes. We’ve received numerous reports from viewers concerning an incident at the Lee Highway Bowling Alley.

Cell phone video shows a large crowd hanging out last night, when someone, who appears to be a teenager, pulls out a gun.

In the video, you can see a person wearing blue jeans frantically try and get out of harms way as someone else in the crowd screams. Another person then runs over and tries to confront the gunman, before his friends pull him back.

A source tells News 12 Chattanooga Police had been called to disperse the crowd around 8pm last night after talk of a gang fight made the rounds. Our source says announcements were also made over the PA system for anyone under the age of 18 without a parent or guardian on hand to leave. That obviously didn’t happen, and our source says the gun incident occurred about 30-minutes after officers left the business.

We’re told some arrests were made and we’re working to verify that.
