Wintry Weather Friday Night Update

Tennessee Valley (WDEF) Main area of snow ending from west to east with around 1" accumulation.

A wintry mix will move back in again in the next couple of hours, and that will change over to freezing rain in most areas by midnight.

Some ice accumulations likely, but our biggest problem will be on the roads through Saturday morning.

Areas of light freezing rain and drizzle will gradually change to rain showers later Saturday morning as highs reach the 40’s.

Early Saturday night heavy rain and thunderstorms will move in from the northwest giving us 1-2 inches of rain and the possibility of flash flooding.

Everything settles down by Sunday morning with quiet weather expected through the day.
