Woman loses home to devastating fire

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – A woman and her dog are left without a place to stay following a devastating fire.
At around 6:30 firefighters responded to the scene on Mowbray Mountain at 9627 Miller Country Road.
Everyone was out of the house as smoke and flames began eating away at the home.
The cause of the fire is undetermined and the home sustained significant fire damage.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the homeowner and her dog with their emergency needs.
