More than 100 animals found at a puppy mill in Rhea County, Animal Shelter asking for help

RHEA COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) – Rhea County Shelter officials say they are removing 100+ Yorkies, Chihuahuas and other breeds of small dogs from “the worst puppy mill situation.”

They posted to Facebook that the animals been living in their own filth and darkness.

These conditions are extreme and medical attention is needed for ALL of these animals.

The shelter is hoping that people will donate to help with this case.

They estimate the cost to be in the thousands for in medical expenses for the animals.

They also say they need help placing these animals. They have to set up emergency kennels and are in dire need of volunteers to help process these animals.
