Police arrest two suspects in shooting of pregnant woman
CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Two suspects in two separate cars pulled in for Monday night’s shooting of a pregnant woman on Arlington Avenue.
Within minutes of the shooting, Chattanooga police had descriptions of a silver Jeep Liberty and a light colored Chevy Impala.
The Street Crimes Response Team stopped both vehicles, and two young men were brought in for questioning.
Now 22 year old Jaumichael Hardy and 20 year old Jacorey Owens have been charged with attempted first degree murder and reckless endangerment.
Investigators believe several shooting incidents around Arlington after 9 PM are gang related.
24-year old Sharia Reynolds was hit by gunfire in the 1500 block in the leg.
Witnesses tell us her other small children were in the home where bullets hit during the shooting.
