2015 Carson Scholars
Chattanooga, TN (WDEF)- The 2015 Chattanooga and Atlanta Carson Scholars will be honored Sunday.
The event will take place in the Tennessee room at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2:00 until 4:00 pm.
The Carson Scholars Fund will be honoring 44 of the best and brightest students from Chattanooga, TN; Atlanta, GA and the surrounding areas. These students will be recognized for their high academics and humanitarian qualities at the Annual Carson Scholars Fund Awards Banquet.
In addition, 52 students have renewed their Carson Scholar status. The previous winners have maintained high academic standards and strong commitment to their communities and are being recognized for their continued efforts.
Dr. Benjamin Carson, possible candidate for the 2016 Presidential race, will deliver the keynote speech.
