Over 50 Marijuana Plants Seized In Dade County

DADE COUNTY, Ga. (WDEF) – The Dade County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force and Governor’s Office Drug Task Force Aviation Unit, seized over 50 Marijuana plants on Wednesday.

In the 400 block of Wells Rd, Marijuana Plants were found outside a residence in Dade County.

Doyle L Wilborn was arrested for Possession/Manufacturing of Marijuana with the Intent to Distribute, and Possession of a firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Other firearms were also recovered at the residence as well.

He has been booked in to the Dade County Jail on those charges.

On the same day, in the 900 block of Mason Rd, a large Marijuana plant was seized. The investigation into the owner of this plant is still ongoing.

Police also report that just across the county line in to Walker County (Head River Area), a very large crop pf marijuana was seized. Over 1,200 plants were found at this location.
