911 calls made during incident at Dalton High School

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) – News 12 has obtained two 911 calls from an incident when a teacher allegedly barricaded himself in a classroom and fired a shot out of a window. It has been one week since Dalton High School dealt with a frightening situation.

A woman from the school made one of those calls.

“We have a threat lock down at Dalton High School,” the woman said.


The calls came in at 11:46 a.m. and 11:47 a.m.

One of the calls was from a possible male student.

“There’s a shooting at Dalton High School,” he said in the call.


Randal Davidson, who was a teacher at the school, was arrested and faces several charges.

He’s currently scheduled for a court hearing this Friday.
