CFD investigates house fire on Shallowford Road

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- The Chattanooga Fire Department is investigating a fire that consumed a home on Shallowford Road early Saturday morning.

According to the fire department, the fire happened around 12:30 this morning.

When crew arrived on scene, they found flames and heavy smoke coming from the home.

Firefighters did not find anyone inside of the home.
