Boy Charged with Starting Fire in Store

Fire investigators have charged an 11 year old boy with starting a blaze at Ollie’s Outlet on Brainerd Road.
The small fire around 6:30 Monday night forced the evacuation of the store.
But employees were able to put it out with extinguishers.
Fire officials say the boy’s mother suspected her son started it and brought him to investigators.
They say he confessed to setting several rolls of carpet on fire.
He was taken to the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with aggravated arson.
