Nightfall releases artist lineup, begins in 1 month
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — Officials have released the details on Nightfall 2023.
Nightfall is a free outdoor concert series that takes place every Friday evening through the summer season.
It will begin on May 26 and go through September 1. Their 36th season will last 15 weeks total.
Each event lasts from around 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
For each night, a local artist will start the show and it will end with a national headliner. Nightfall released its lineup for the season.
The headliners are below in bold and the local artists are not bolded.

- June 2 Patrick Sweany / Clare Donahue Quintet featuring Ken Watters
- June 9 Bywater Call / Bryanna Fuquea
- June 16 Funk You / Three Star Revival
- June 23 The Sherlocks / Red Pawn
- June 30 Road to Nightfall Winners (TBD)
- July 7 J2B2 (John Jorgenson Bluegrass Band) / The New Quintet
- July 14 Featuring a co-bill of two different Chattanooga bands:
7 p.m. Dexter Bell & Friends featuring Karen Collins / 8:20 p.m. Jimmy Allgood & The It’s Allgood Band - July 21 Red Clay Strays / Fawley
- July 28 Joshua Hedley / Magic Birds
- August 4 Victor Wainwright & the Train / Luke Simmons & the Lovestruck
- August 11 The Banditos / Oweda
- August 18 Urban Heat / Ashley and the Xs
- August 25 Sensational Barnes Brothers / Zowie Boyd
- September 1 Jemere Morgan / Swayyvo
Nightfall takes place at Miller Plaza and Miller Park in Chattanooga.
It also includes food trucks, local vendors and yard games.
Motorcyclists flock to Nightfall each year as well. They allow motorcycle parking on the 800 block of Market Street.
Guests can find food trucks and artists on Broad Street and M. L. King Boulevard. Some vendors will be on Georgia Avenue too.
