One person shot on Glass Street

CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee(WDEF) – Police are investigating an early morning shooting that sent one person to the hospital.

According to officers on scene, the shooting took place inside the parking lot of the Glass Street Breakfast and Lunch House which is located at the corner of Dodson Avenue and Glass Street.

Officers told WDEF, the male victim managed to walk one block down from that location where he was eventually located and transported to the hospital.

There is no word on the victim’s condition.

Police told WDEF there is no suspect information.

10 AM UPDATE:
        Chattanooga police now say the victim claims he was leaving J and J Lounge when he was shot.
        23 year old Rodriguez D. Jones is now in stable condition.
