Witch & Warlock Paddle returns to Tennessee River this October

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — River City Company and Outshine Adventure are hosting a Halloween paddleboarding, kayaking and canoeing event this October.

The Witch and Warlock Paddle is taking place on October 21, 2023. It will last from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Those who want to join may bring their own paddle watercrafts, such as kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddleboards.

But those who do not have a watercraft can still participate by renting one from Outshine Adventures, L2 Outside, Chattanooga Guided Adventures and Rock Creek Adventures.

Rentals will be $35 from these businesses.

The Witch and Warlock Paddle will begin at Rivermont Park. Participants will travel 4.4 miles down the river to Coolidge Park.

Event coordinators are encouraging participants to dress in their favorite Halloween costume during the paddle. The best-dressed paddler will also receive a prize.

Participants must be at least 10 years old with adult supervision.
