Driver escapes entrapment after crash on Highway 41

HALETOWN, Tenn. (WDEF) — A car crashed and flipped on Highway 41 on Tuesday. The crash occurred in Marion County, Tennessee.

The Haletown Volunteer Fire Department responded to the single vehicle wreck around 2 p.m.

It happened in the 11500 block of Highway 41, near Guild and Haletown.

The fire department said the driver was able to get out of the vehicle on their own. Although they were originally told the crash involved an entrapment.

An ambulance then transported the driver to a hospital. Firefighters said the driver had minor injuries that were not life-threatening.
