NAACP Response to Brainerd High Fight

Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – Three female Brainerd High students were suspended for fighting on Tuesday. According to our sources, the students face  multiple charges of criminal disorderly conduct, which may endanger their futures.

Chattanooga-Hamilton County NAACP chapter president, Dr. Elenora Woods, calls for alternative penalties for offenses like these and said that schools have no "restorative justice."

More than half a dozen police cars were on scene early Tuesday afternoon.
