Auto shop fire extinguished in Meigs County
MEIGS COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — An auto shop in Meigs County caught fire and was extinguished on Tuesday night.
The fire broke out at an auto shop on the 400 block of River Road, at around 7:30 p.m.
Meigs County Emergency Services and the Decatur Fire Department responded to extinguish the flames.
Firefighters had the blaze under control within 20 minutes of arrival, according to Meigs County emergency officials.
They added that responders kept the fire from spreading and minimized property damage.
