Medal of Honor Recipient laid to rest today
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Officials at the Medal of Honor Museum encourage Chattanoogans to line up along the route of a procession this afternoon to honor Captain Larry Taylor.
The procession begins at the Museum next to the Aquarium at around 2:45 p.m. and makes its way to the National Cemetery for an Internment Service.
They have issued a map to share their route to the cemetery.
The National Cemetery service is open to the public, but there is limited parking.
It will include a 21-gun salute, helicopter flyover and Tapos.
You can watch a private service for the family at the museum beginning at 2pm in a live stream, through the National Cemetery event.
