Person shot Wednesday on Derby Street, police say

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — A shooting took place just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday in Chattanooga.

Police responded to a shots fired call on the 400 block of Derby Street.

When officers arrived, they learned that the victim went to the hospital by a personal vehicle.

The victim had a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

They have not yet identified anyone who was involved.

CPD is still investigating the incident.
