Chattanooga named best place to live in Tennessee

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga was named the best city to live in Tennessee by US News and World Report. 

Chattanooga rose 21 spots to be ranked 27th overall in the country. 

In last year’s rankings, Chattanooga was ranked 48th.

US News and World Report base their rankings on quality of life, value, job market and more. 

“It’s the third year in a row under Mayor Kelly that the city has increased in those rankings. But it’s not just the responsibility of city government or city governments not the only reason. It’s also about all of the people who live in Chattanooga and make it such a wonderful city to live in,” said
