Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors renovates Greenway dog park
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – Chattanooga’s Greenway dog park is undergoing renovations and construction.
Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors says they are adding a brand-new ADA accessible pathway at the park.
The park will be closed starting Thursday, June 27, through Monday, July 1.
Through these improvements, the Parks and Outdoors is hoping everyone can enjoy the park to the fullest.
“To be such a very popular park there are just multitudes of people of all, likes and abilities that come out and use this park. As we continue to look at these parks we look at how we want to invest in the future of our parks, what are some very sensible ways that we can do this and one is making everything accessible,” said Brian Smith, Spokesperson for Chattanooga Parks and Outdoors.
Once the pathway project is complete, Parks and Outdoors says they will also add water features for the pups to enjoy.
