Macaroni Penguin exhibit featured at Tennessee Aquarium

News 12 This Morning: Thom Benson with the Tennessee Aquarium joins News 12’s Amelia Greer to highlight one-of-a-kind events featured in Chattanooga this summer.

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Tennessee Aquarium is proud to introduce multiple new experiences for the family this summer.

One display they are particularly excited about, is their newest Macaroni Penguin exhibit. Perhaps the species’ most iconic feature is their golden-yellow crest.

People of all ages will have the opportunity to see this remarkable species in the Ocean Journey.

Along with interactive aquatic experiences, IMAX lovers have a couple notable events on the way to the theater.

‘Twisters,’ the sequel in the classic ‘Twister’ franchise, will be featured in IMAX– along with a pre-show Q&A from three of the films’ stars.

If that wasn’t enough to keep you entertained this summer, IMAX will also be offering a viewing of the Paris Olympics!
