Stone Creek Farm celebrates 100 years of heritage
News 12 This Morning: Phillip Johnson along with his daughter Laura and her husband Allen Jones join News 12’s Amelia Greer to talk about the recent honor their family is celebrating as a ‘Heritage Farm.’ Stone Creek Farm has been a part of the family for 100 years.
DUNLAP, Tenn. (WDEF) — A family farm is celebrating 100 years of history in the Sequatchie Valley.
Stone Creek Farm was recently honored as a Heritage Farm– meaning it has been owned and operated by the same family for a century.
As of 2024, Laura and Allen Jones operate the farm along with their four children. They offer U-Pick events for their flowers and delicious blueberries.
Laura’s father, Phillip Johnson shared some of the history behind the farm and how they got to where they are today.
He’s excited to see his daughter and grand kids carrying on the legacy of this treasured, natural heirloom.
The Jones are excited to see what the future holds for their family and next generation of farmers.
