News 12 This Morning: Joseph Gonzalez and Sydney Tremblay with Broken Heart Cheesecakes join News 12’s Amelia Greer to highlight their special deals for ‘National Cheesecake Day.’ They bring some of their specialty cakes and talk about the inspiring mission behind their local business.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) — July 30 is National Cheesecake Day. With this in mind, a local food truck is hoping to spread goodness to the Chattanooga community… one cheesecake at a time.
Broken Heart Cheesecakes was founded by Joseph Gonzalez in 2023.
He had his own share of mental health struggles and wanted to find a way to inspire others through something as simple as a creamy dessert.
Gonzalez crafted a delicious menu full of cakes with names ranging from ‘No S’more Sadness’ and ‘The Key to Happiness.’
They offer an array of flavors every week! The truck travels around the Chattanooga region, sharing tasteful cheesecakes for any appetite.
For National Cheesecake Day, the truck will have a lineup of cheesecakes for $5. The truck will be parked at Hawthorne at the W near Signal Mountain.
