The Stocking Full of Love program for the 2024 holiday season

CATOOSA COUNT, Tenn. (WDEF) — The Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office is excited to announce the continuation of the program for the 2024 holiday season.

This program’s goals are to spread joy to children and their families in need, across Catoosa County.

For over 30 years, the program has provided Christmas toys to children who might otherwise go without.

Last year, it successfully assisted over 1,200 children, however, with the recent economic challenges, Sheriff Sisk anticipates an even greater need this year.

He says, “Given the current economic difficulties, we expect the demand for support to rise.”

To be a recipient of these donations, you must fill out an application.

Sheriff Sisk adds, “We’re here to help. We want to be here to help. We want to be a partner with you and provide a little joy. You know, it’s not a whole lot of what it could be, but at least it’s something. And I understand your nervousness about coming in and accepting help, but we’re offering it, and we would be proud of you to come, and receive this assistance if you need it.”

Community members wishing to contribute new, unwrapped toys can drop them off at the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office at 5842 Highway 41, Ringgold, GA.

To arrange for a pickup of donated toys, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at (706) 935-2424.

Financial contributions can be made securely online or by mailing a check, payable to Catoosa County Stocking Full of Love, to:
