Point Park waving entry fee in celebration of Veterans Day

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) —  If you’ve been wanting to visit Point Park atop Lookout Mountain, entry fees will be waived soon.

Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park is waiving the entry fee to the park on Veterans Day, Monday, November 11, 2024.

Visitors can take in the views of Chattanooga from above, along with exploring trails throughout the mountain.

Point Park also features multiple programs by park rangers, revealing the historical significance of Point Park during the American Civil War.

Times for these programs are 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m.
