CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF)- A chemical transport company has been fined for their role in a series of chemicals last year in Chattanooga. The Pipeline Hazardous and Materials Safety Administration has fined Zee Company, Inc. of Cleveland, GA $10,561 for three chemical spills last year.
These occurred on August 3. August 4, and September 20 in 2023.
The most notable of these was on August 4 in front of the Rave Movie Theater in East Ridge which forced dozens of evacuations in the middle of the night.
