The Flip is known as a traveling trade show where community members can come out and bring their personal collection of collectibles, in hopes to find good trades with other vendors or collectors.

At the show, there were over 100 vendors trading a diverse set of collectibles, including but not limited to,

Gunnar Mathis, Sales Manager at All Stars Sports Cards says, “To me, I mean, I love sports. My dad got me into it, he was a big collector, so just it’s just become a hobby. And seeing you know, the look on kids’ faces when they get their favorite players cards and all that. It’s the best.”

This event wasn’t just geared toward adults, but also children who were excited to find the missing piece to their personal collections.

Samuel Ashe, a young collector says, “Well, my dad kind of got me into it, and I really like a lot of the older cards, and probably my favorite player in like 1989 would probably be Ken Griffie Jr.”

General admissions were $6 and kids 12 and under got in for free.

The next Flip will be hosted in Huntsville, AL, at the Von Braun Center, East Halls on December 14, 2024.
