Chattanooga kitchen fire sends woman to the hospital
Chattanooga, TN (WDEF) – A Monday afternoon kitchen fire sends a Chattanooga woman to the hospital for possible smoke inhalation.
It happened at a home on Shepherd Road.
Chattanooga firefighters attacked the fire quickly and got it under control within 5 to 10 minutes.
Most of the fire damage was contained to the kitchen and living room.
A 38-year-old female was taken by EMS to Erlanger because she was having a hard time breathing.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
