Officials Release Name of Train Victim

Sale Creek, TN (WDEF) – The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the man who was hit by a train on Wednesday night.

He was 57 year old Larry Wayne Hester from the Bakewell community.

Hester was walking by the train tracks off Industrial Boulevard when a Norfolk Southern cargo train hit him.

Officials were not able to find his next of kin, but were able to identify him through friends in the area.
