Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office investigating suspicious death

DALTON, Ga. (WDEF) —  The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) is investigating what they call a suspicious death in Dalton this morning.

WSCO responded to 3089 North Dug Gap Road in Dalton around 8:15 a.m.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered an unresponsive male behind the business of Gerber.

Investigators pronounced the male deceased at the scene.

The male was later identified as Lamar Frazier.

According to WSCO, there is no indication that there is a danger to the public.

This investigation remains ongoing.
