Fatal crash near Charleston leaves one dead, one injured
BRADLEY COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) — A single-vehicle crash in Bradley County yesterday resulted in one fatality and one injury.
According to a preliminary report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee was traveling north on I-75 near mile marker 33, when it veered off the right side of the road and collided with a guardrail.
The male driver suffered fatal injuries, while the female passenger was injured.
THP stated that both individuals were from Georgia.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reported that all lanes on I-75 were temporarily blocked as crews responded to the crash.
