HCSO arrest two juveniles for a stolen vehicle and firearm from Florence, Ala.

HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. (WDEF) –  Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office arrest two juveniles from Florence, Ala. for a stolen vehicle and firearm.

On Tuesday afternoon, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office received a request from Alabama law enforcement to be on the lookout for a BMW X3 SUV that was stolen overnight from a rash of auto burglaries in Florence, Ala. A loaded 9mm firearm was also reported stolen.

A HCSO Patrol Sergeant spotted the stolen vehicle on a store parking lot on Dayton Pike in Sale Creek.

The car was occupied by a 17-year-old male who reached for a concealed handgun. He surrendered before force was used. A 15-year-old male accomplish was in the store and arrested.

Both juvenile suspects, who are residents of Florence, were transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center where they were booked on charges of Theft and Unlawful Possession of a Handgun.
