Horror Takes Over East Ridge

EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WDEF) – A celebration of all things spooky took over East Ridge this weekend.

ShudderCon 2025 brought together horror lovers, haunted attraction pros, and pop culture fans under one roof, and it was anything but your average convention.

From scare actors in full costume to vendors selling eerie artwork, props, and collectibles, Camp Jordan Arena was transformed into a haunt-lover’s dream.

ShudderCon featured panel discussions, behind-the-scenes seminars on building haunted houses, and tips for making Halloween more chilling than ever.

It also served as a networking hub for those who work in the horror industry year-round, designing escape rooms, working in film, or running haunted attractions across the Southeast.

Families and hardcore horror fans alike got a taste of the action, with interactive exhibits and plenty of photo ops with creepy characters around every corner.

This was the second year for ShudderCon, and with the growing turnout, organizers say they’re already planning to make next year even bigger and scarier.
