What Feds Are and Are Not Finding on Abdulazeer Computer

Chattanooga (WDEF) – Mohammod Adbulazeez viewed material connected to a radical cleric who was killed by an American drone in 2011.

That is according to an unnamed source in the investigation according to the New York Times.

The cleric is Anwar al-Awlaki, who was born in the U.S. but died in Yemen.

The New York Times reports that Abdulazeez wrote about suicide and martyrdom dating back to 2013.

The source says that is the most they have gotten so far about his state of mind from searching his computer.

They still have no direct link to any radical element that would have helped him plan the attack, or even any references to it.

The source says most of the material seems to be the rambling of a depressed mind instead of a declaration to martyrdom.

The intelligence official says they are still looking for any possible ISIS connection.

They are still waiting on forensic tests of his computer and phone.
