Police chase leads to one arrest in Fort Oglethorpe

Authorities towing away a black SUV, who they say belonged to Patrick McDaniel, following a police chase.

FORT OGLETHORPE, Ga. (WDEF) — A man has been arrested following a police chase this morning.

Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson says that an unmarked Chattanooga Police vehicle was chasing Patrick McDaniel.

McDaniel was wanted both in Walker County and in Chattanooga.

That chase ended when McDaniel’s black S-U-V went off Park City Road off of Battlefield Parkway.

The Walker County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Oglethorpe Police Department, Georgia Department of Public Safety, and Georgia State Patrol were all on scene.

McDaniel was brought to the Walker Co. jail on a felony probation violation.
