Half-priced tickets for college students at the Tennessee Aquarium

Alison Pryor joins News 12’s Amelia Greer as the Tennessee Aquarium’s IMAX Theatre shows a handful of educational nature documentaries this month. 

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – February is a busy month at the Tennessee Aquarium as they are running a special promotion for their College Days season and a collection of new documentaries now playing on their IMAX screen.

College students, faculty, and family members can visit the aquarium with half-priced tickets through the end of February as part of their College Days celebrations. Tickets will have to be bought in person with a valid college ID, transcript, or paystub to receive the discount.

Additionally, the aquarium will have extended hours on Saturday, February 28 so families can have more time to enjoy the exhibits at a lower cost.

New documentaries are hitting their IMAX screen which highlights a few of their residents. After seeing the cute penguins in the Ocean Building, guests can hop over to catch Penguins: A Love Story 3D, Coral Sea 3D, andLost Wolves of Yellowstone

In addition to those films, IMAX is rolling in the King of Rock n’ Roll with a new look at the life of Elvis Presley during his last performances.
