Injured hiker being rescued near Sunset Rock

Waldens Ridge Emergency Service (WRES) and Signal Mountain Fire Department are currently engaged in an active woods rescue for an injured hiker, the WRES says.

They say WRES units are operating at the Edwards Point Trailhead.

Signal Mountain Fire Department units are on scene at the Rainbow Lake entrance.
