​Remote Area Medical to provide free medical services locally

Remote Area Medical (RAM) will be providing free medical services to those in need on Tuesday, February 24 and Wednesday, February 25 in the Athens area.

They say the clinics are made possible through RAM’s Telehealth Access Vehicles.

These are mobile medical units featuring exam rooms, medical supplies and Starlink internet connectivity to provide high-quality telehealth services, they say.

– Medical services only (no dental or vision services will be offered)
– Clinics are free and open to the public
– No ID required
– Clinics are first-come, first-served
– Clinic closing times may vary based on daily capacity
