Walker County Local Government Services building to reopen following pipe bursting

The Walker County Local Government Services building will reopen to the public on Monday, April 27th.

A pipe burst in the days prior causing water damage throughout the lower level of the building.

The say when the Tax Commissioner’s office reopens Monday, there will be limited public space. Despite this, all tag and tax services will be available.

The Local Government Services building houses the tag and tax office, the assessors office, planning and zoning, and codes enforcement departments. The planning office is currently open with limited public space.

The building is located at 122 Highway 95 in Rock Spring.
