E 38th Street at Fagan Street closed due to water main break

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Tennessee American Water has reported a water main break to the Chattanooga Department of Public Works, which is near the intersection of E 38th Street and Fagan Street.

They say this emergency repair will necessitate a road closure expected to last until Wednesday, May 6th.

Motorists should anticipate heavy congestion, particularly during peak travel hours, as the required detours will route traffic onto residential streets.

Alternative routes are strongly advised until the road is reopened.
