Pizza sold at Walmart recalled due to potential salmonella contaminant
The USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for frozen Chicken Bacon Ranch pizzas, according to the Hamilton County Health Department.
They say while there have been no adverse reactions due to consumption, the FSIS warns that the product may still be in consumers’ freezers and urges consumers not to consume these products.
The alert decision followed multiple FSIS establishments being notified of a recall of ingredients containing dry milk powder.
The FSIS is continuing to investigate this issue.
