Chattanooga Design Studio debuts plans for their future

Leaders for the Chattanooga Design Studio announced today a new vision for their future.

The Board says there is still a clear demand for urban design in Chattanooga.

The studio has literally drawn up many of the visions for Chattanooga’s big public projects.

Currently their big project is the Montague Park Plan.

After a sixty day review, the board has re-organized their leadership.

And they are bringing in a consultant to help them focus on their relationship with the community.

“As Chattanooga reflects on more than 40 years of remarkable progress, thanks in part to the Studio, we believe our community is at an important inflection point. The Studio was created to help bring people together to build the future of our city, and this moment calls for that same spirit. The Studio remains a platform for bringing our community together around the ‘Chattanooga way’ conversations about design, planning, and the places that shape our shared quality of life.”

– Mark McKnight, Chairman of the Chattanooga Design Studio Board of Directors said.
