East Brainerd residential fire results in total loss and damages other houses

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (WDEF) – The Chattanooga Fire Department had all-hands-on-deck as an overnight fire damages several homes.
At 1:23 AM Monday morning, CFD repsonded to a possible residential structure fire call at 1700 block of Andover Place.
Once at the scene, the house was fully engulfed in flames and houses on either side of the residence began to catch on fire.
Aerial master streams were used to extinguish the bulk of the blaze and fire companies will remain on scene for hours monitoring and targeting remaining hot spots.
Occupants in all impacted homes had evacuated and there are no injuries.
The cause of the fire will be under investigation with the original structure is a total loss. The houses on either side sustained some damage, but CFD successfully saved neighbors’ homes from being destroyed.
