Polk County Fatal Shooting
The Polk County Sheriff’s office is searching for the suspect involved in a weekend murder.
It happened at a home on Elrod Circle early Saturday morning.
Authorities say Ann Marie Gober was shot during a hail of gun fire.
Sheriff’s officials say it started when Gober’s boyfriend, Chuck Adams went outside after hearing a truck approach the home.
The suspect fired at Adams, wounding him in the leg.
As Gober came outside to check on the situation, she was shot twice in the upper torso and once in the arm.
She passed away at a local hospital.
