Sand Mountain man charged with home arson

CROSSVILLE, Ala. (WDEF) – DeKalb County Alabama investigators charge an Albertville man with arson.

The fire happened at a home on County Road 1973 in the Crossville area on February 4th.

Investigators say 29 year old Jeffery Michael Page was at the home.

Witnesses say he went tot he back of the house and started the fire, then climbed out of the window.

Sheriff Jimmy Harris says “thank you to the Deputies, Investigators and Deputy State Fire Marshal for working on this case and making an arrest in such a short period of time. Arson crimes are extremely hard to solve. This is still an ongoing investigation and no more information will be released at this time.”
