News 12 Then: Fishing for the new Tennessee Aquarium

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – We’re counting down to the 25th anniversary of the Tennessee Aquarium that will be celebrated on Thursday.

So we continue to share with you stories we aired previewing the new attraction.

How do you fill an empty Aquarium?

You buy some fish, but you’ve also got to go fishing.

In this story, Anchor Dan Howell shows us that some of the Aquarium’s fish came from nearby Chickamauga Lake, Polk County, and some from as far away as Russia.
