Looking Ahead to March 8, 2016

Chattanooga police respond to a person shot twice on Fagan Street.
It happened Monday night around 10PM in the 4500 block.
Police say the victim, 34 year old Kanya Thompson was in an altercation with the suspect, Bobby Johnson Jr.
Johnson left the residence and returned with a gun.. shooting the victim once in each leg.
Police are now searching for Johnson.
Thompson remains in the hospital in critical condition.

Toddlers would have to ride in rear-facing car seats for an additional year under a bill passed by both chambers of the Tennessee General Assembly.
Current law requires rear-facing car seats until age 1; forward-facing car seats until age 3; and booster seats until age 8.
The bill would change those rules to require rear-facing seats until age 2; forward-facing car seats until age 5; and booster seats until children turn 12 or reach a height of 4-foot-9.
The bill now heads to Republican Gov. Bill Haslam.
