Woman killed in I 75 crash

CHATTANOOGA (WDEF) – Police say a woman was killed in an interstate wreck this morning.

It happened on I 75 South just before 10 AM.

Police investigators say a Honda Accord was travelling behind an 18 wheeler when it ran into the back of the truck.

The car then spun off the roadway and hit a guardrail.

Police say the 40 year old female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one in the 18-wheeler were hurt.
