Carry The Load passes through Chattanooga
Chattanooga, TN — The cross-country Carry The Load Memorial May National Relay passed through Chattanooga today, May 17th.
It began around 2:00 p.m. They took a short break at the corner of 38th Street and Rossville Boulevard, then they walked to Station 1 on East Main Street. They then continued their walk through Chattanooga to Signal Mountain.
Some off-duty Chattanooga firefighters escorted them with a fire truck, and walked with them through the city.
Carry The Load says on their website that it is a non-profit dedicated to providing active, meaningful ways to honor and celebrate the sacrifices made by our nation’s heroes — military, law enforcement, firefighters and first responders.
